The walk to Lake Arpy (2066 m) is a must for those staying in Morgex. The path, with a difference in height of 228 m from Colle San Carlo to the lake, does not present particular difficulties and it is an excursion suitable for all ages.
The panorama that appears upon your arrival deserves the effort taken to reach it: the lake surrounded by the woods, suggestive in all seasons, sometimes reflects the entire Mont Blanc chain on itself.
For trekking lovers, it is possible to continue and reach, in a couple of hours' walk, the Pietra Rossa lake (2559 m) and, then, the Becca Pougnenta (2822 m) from which to admire almost the entire Valdigne.
